2021-09-26 Update: For some unknown reason my ender-3 leaves a tiny z-gap of about 0.18 mm where the filamentchange takes place. Since i'm already using a anti-backlash-nut, I'm quit sure that this must be some firmware bug. However, I found a good workaround. The pause-at-height script wants to move the Head to z=15.0 mm, but due to some issue the nozzle ends up at z=15.18 mm. So the simple solution is, tell the printer where the nozzle is. To do so I just entered "G92 Z15.18" as gcode-after-pause in the pause-at-height dialogbox. Yeah, another nametag, sign or whatever. for writing your own text you only need to define a box 2 mm tall, and position the textobject 1mm above ground, and substract the objects. This can be done easily in Tinkercad. Should be printed with two differnt coloured filaments. I managed this on my Ender-3 when printing via SD-card by just stopping the print with a script (Cura: Extension/Post Processing/ Modify G-Code/Pause at Height), and then manually swapping the filament. See the cura-screenshot for details, the additional G-Code-command will let the printer beep. Please note, that for printing above 1 mm in a different colour using a layerheight of 0.2 mm you have to enter Layer number 5 to adress layer number 6. When a programmer tells you, he has zero kids, he actually has one kid, because he starts counting with zero and keeps the saved bit for later. ;-) Seeing a picture of your make would be fine!
