Sign Spielleiter for DnD (german word for gamemaster)

thingiverse

This is a customized sign for our game master at our Dungeons and Dragons adventures, a small birthday gift for him. The letters are held together by a tiny bridge that allows it to stand independently on its base or be laid down as desired. The design uses the German word "Spielleiter" meaning "game master," because we only play in German, and it's intended to resemble an ancient wall. It can be resized to any size required. Post-printing note: Please exercise caution when removing the sign from the hotbed, as the bridge is quite small and easily damaged. I designed this sign using the "Dungeon" font from Dave Fabrik, converted it into a path in Inkscape, and then created the 3D model in FreeCad. However, I encountered several issues with FreeCad and had to use multiple programs and workarounds to resolve them. Unfortunately, FreeCad was not the ideal tool for this project due to my limited familiarity with other CAD software at the time. Additionally, I tried to create a rounded front face but was unable to do so due to errors that arose during the process. Perhaps I will revisit this challenge in the future and achieve better results.
