UPDATE: Sign Here Please was flown on October 13, 2018 with a G78. The flight utilized an optional payload bay and altimeter sled that is now included in the download package. There are two altimeter sleds available: one has mounting holes for a Missile Works RRC2+ altimeter, while the other is blank and can be drilled for other altimeters. Both have a mounting location for a 9-volt battery. Sign Here Please, named after its shipping tube construction, is a medium-complexity mid-power model rocket that requires no glue in its construction. It is designed to fly on 29mm model rocket motors with integral thrust rings (a glue-on thrust ring is included for black powder motors). A rail is necessary for launching this model. Additional required materials include: • One 2” x 2 foot shipping tube • Masking tape • Aluminum tape • Ten feet of paracord or equivalent • Thirty-inch or equivalent parachute • Two #6-32 x 1/2” Phillips flat head screws • Two #6-32 heat-set inserts (McMaster-Carr P/N: 93365A132 or equivalent) • Twelve #4-40 x 5/16” socket head screws • Twelve #4-40 heat-set inserts (McMaster-Carr P/N: 93365A122 or equivalent) Required tools include: • Ruler • Pen or pencil • Drill • Drill bits (size not critical, but 9/64 to 5/32 range is sufficient)
