Sigma Strap Clip
thingiverse
Recently, I cracked under pressure when a strap clip on my bag snapped apart at the seams. In response, I quickly devised a makeshift replacement by designing one from scratch. This innovative solution takes the form of a lasercut strap clip with a distinctive sigmoid (capital sigma) shape, precision-crafted to withstand heavy loads without yielding to stress. Beware: The sharp corners on this design can pose a threat if mishandled, so proceed with caution. In my initial prototype, I experimented with an open design, but unfortunately, it failed to provide the mechanical stability required to support substantial weight. **Installation Instructions** Carefully lasercut the provided .dxf file, and then secure the strap clip in place by sewing it firmly.
