Sigma 150-500mm lens collar

The Lens Lock is a collar that securely fits around the exposed shaft of the Sigma 150-500mm lens when extended to its full 500mm focal length. This camera lens is incredibly impressive, but unfortunately, it cannot be locked into place at a specific focal length, and its heavy glass elements cause it to extend or contract on their own if not held level. Moreover, it also fails to hold focus as the focal length changes. As a result, for astrophotography, wildlife, and sporting photography enthusiasts, missed shots can occur due to the lens creeping out of position. This Lens Lock is designed to snugly fit around the exposed lens shaft when extended to 500mm and maintain its locked position at that focal length. I used to employ cardboard to achieve this effect, but humidity would cause it to fail, and there was a risk of slipping between the shaft and the rings, potentially jamming the lens. To address these issues, the Lens Lock features flat ends to prevent jamming and enhance rigidity. It easily slips on and off the lens, allowing you to focus on capturing great shots once you're set up.
