SIG P365 Magazine Filler (Floor Plate - Plug)

In IDPA, B.U.G. Division, only 6 rounds are allowed in the magazine. No problem as the smallest mag for the P365 is 10 rounds. However, in order to improve magazine ejection if a little force can be added to the magazine follower where it presses against the slide stop then magazine changes could be faster. By putting a larger floor plate, magazine filler, or plug, in the bottom of the magazine it will add a little more force by compressing the spring some. While a user could put in a stiffer spring, this could result in some feeding issues. The filler merely acts as though there are always 2-3 rounds in the magazine. I printed this with Inland Tough PLA and have used in several short matches with success. The preferred way to print is on its side because it lays down the filament for the retention pin perpendicular to the shear forces of the base plate. A support, just for the pin is suggested. I, HOWEVER, didn't head my own advice and printed it standing up with no supports. Hence the very messy bottom. I haven't had any of the retention pins shear, with the Tough PLA, though I've only opened them up two or three times (5 magazines) so far. <EDIT> I have now printed this in all 3 axis. Standing upwards, on the short flat end, with supports, seems to give the smoothest print and the strongest retention pin. YMMV. PSA: For states with laws limiting magazine capacity, this device WILL NOT qualify as those states usually require the capacity limitation be permanent and not easily reversed.
