Inventory Number: 35558 Description: Disk; lightly worn with a circle of 2.3 cm at the rounded front featuring an engraved mythical creature in the center. The recessed space between the engraved figure and the circle is filled with blue enamel containing several white dots (champlevé technique). The creature is drawn with elegant curved lines and has an artistic composition. The head on the bending neck has a feline appearance due to the slanting eye stripes and pointed ears. A wing is depicted on the body, and the thigh bone and hooves are accentuated with lines. The animal has a narrow waist and a pointed tail. The disk's edge is decorated with short lines.
