Sierpinski Tetrix Generator

Sierpinski Tetrix Generator

thingiverse

A highly customizable OpenSCAD Sierpinski Tetrix generator is at your fingertips. This tool empowers you to create stunning Sierpinski Tetrix models from a wide range of shapes, including tetrahedra, cubes, and spheres - or feel free to explore other options by downloading the OpenSCAD file. The script achieves this feat by applying four transformations to scaled duplicates of the initial shape. The resulting geometry is then scaled, copied, and translated, with this process repeating itself for any number of iterations. With Customize, you have the freedom to choose up to 8 iterations of this intricate process. EDIT: To further enhance functionality, the code has been refined to optimize its use of recursion and enable precise adjustment of the degree of overlap between shapes. EDIT 2: A critical bug has been addressed, where the bottom faces would often exhibit inverted normals when using a tetrahedron as the base shape. This issue has now been resolved.
