Sierpinski Carpet (Levels 1-6)
thingiverse
Probably not the most efficient way to achieve 2D drawings, but during my experimentation with creating Menger Sponges I decided to explore how far I could go with simpler Sierpinski carpet geometry. I managed to reach level 5 in a single Solidworks part, however exporting that and reimporting/tiling the parasolid allowed me to access level 6. As you can see in the accompanying images, I used a lasercutter on birch squares (approximately 1/8" thick) to cut out the level 5 design. The STL exports are also included for reference. If you require an STL with different dimensions (I arbitrarily set mine at .125"), or if you're unable to create one yourself, I can easily modify the parts (excluding level 6, which would be a bit more challenging).
