A powerful CNC demands a robust clamping solution. Our in-house designed prototype clamping system for the Sienci Mill One is constructed from PVC, HDPE, and aluminum. These prototype machinist clamps enable you to securely fasten material to your Mill One with an extremely low profile, giving you the freedom to design and test your own creations. Watch our video to grasp this process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wNAAiY-gRc When using these clamps, keep in mind: Plan your clamp placement meticulously beforehand to prevent any milling operation from colliding with the clamps. Ensure the bottom of your material is flat before milling to avoid lifting or tilting issues. Combine our clamps with double-sided carpet tape for an even more secure workholding system. Utilize the flat notches on top of the clamps for holding and locking your material in place, preventing side-to-side movement. Resist modifying the clamping hole pattern we've provided, as any changes may compromise the structural integrity of your Mill One's milling platform.
