Siege Turtle - a tabletop miniature based on a concept sketch by https://marijnvanbekkum.artstation.com/ --- Affectionately known as 'Gerard', this behemoth of unknown species or origin was found twenty years ago by an eccentric goblin beach comber. Apparently not worried by the possible consequences of taking home an egg bigger than herself, she kept it warm and cozy for months on end -- ignoring the complaints and warnings of her cavemates. After being raised in captivity, Gerard could be considered domesticated, but only barely. The goblin blacksmith who made its make-shift armour lost several fingers during the fitting process. The tribe was eager to forgive, however, after it casually took down a set of solid oak city gates during a seemingly hopeless raid. Thanks to their new-found asset, Gerard's tribe has become the dominant goblin force for nearly a hundred miles around. But as Gerard's power only grows, its 'mother' is beginning to show grey hairs. And it shows no signs of obeying anyone else... --- Default scaling is Large (5cm base diameter), but can of course be adjusted as necessary. Sculpted, retopologised, textured, rigged, posed, and rendered in Blender 2.8.
