Siege Ram / Battering Ram from The Age Of Empires

Presenting, The Siege Ram, or as someone else might say, The Battering Ram from The Age of Empires! A siege/battering ram was a siege engine that originated in ancient times and designed to break open the masonry walls of fortifications or splinter their wooden gates. This is my first model with press fit and moving parts. The Log has a Ram head on its front end which has been obtained from Thingiverse user 'Gedelgo.' Thank you for classifying your model as CC-SA licensing so designers like myself could use them. Here is a link to his model on Thingiverse. There are 9 different parts for the model, which I think can be all printed in one go. This model is supposed to be a desktop toy or a showcase model. It is a close replica if not the exact same. I have tried to add as many details as possible to the model. Hope you like this model and would be really happy if someone could print it off and post it under the 'Makes' section under this model. Please Note: Because of the details in the model, improper placement can involve quite a bit of post-print cleaning. Slice the model smartly in your slicer and you are good to go. Post-Printing Step 1: Once you're done printing all the parts, you need to press fit the Roof to the Base. I've added small pegs on the Roof legs that will place themselves perfectly into place on the base to secure a Roof-Base connection. For any of you wondering, the tolerance is 150 microns, which is neither too tight nor too loose. Post-Printing Step 2: One more small step and you'll be done with the model! There's one small manual addition to the model - The threads that will hold in place your Log between the Roof and the Base. Notice the semicircular loops on the log and the rectangular windows on the roof top. Those are for looping your threads into place. You'll need not more than 15 cms of thick thread for the same. Once you're done with that step, VOILA! You have your own Siege Ram to display. Here are some pictures to help you with the same. Step #1: Place threads between these semicircular hoops on the Log. Step #2: After looping inside the Log, pass the threads through the rectangular windows on the Roof Frame and tie to secure the log in suspension.
