I created two sleeves, one 12mm and the other 10mm, from aluminum stock. I precision-drilled each sleeve to match the exact dimensions of a gauge shaft. Additionally, I engineered a slot on one side of each sleeve to allow for a screw to pass through, securing the gauge in place. Both sleeves were then attached to the holder using superglue. The combined assembly fits snugly into a toolpost holder. To achieve proper positioning of the gauge's center, V1 required a 3mm shim. In contrast, V2 holds the gauge 4mm higher than necessary.
