This is a creative take on a design by Vaclav Krmela. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-steady-rest-for-lathe-23206 This steady rest is made for sieg c1 lathes, which are also sold under different brand names. parts needed 2 m5 nuts 2 m5x30mm socket head cap screw 6 1/4-20 brass nuts 3 2" 1/4-20 brass screws Grind the tips of the brass screws at a 45-degree angle until there is about 1/16 inch of flat left on each tip.
