Museum visitors flocked to the 3D workshop at Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg in March 2015, where they were given the unique opportunity to scan and rework two distinct masterpieces from the museum's collection. The sculptures chosen for this innovative project were Sphinx (1947), a stunning piece created by Wilhelm Freddie in 1909-1995, and Sitting Woman (1957), a beautiful work crafted by Svend Wiig Hansen between 1922-1997. Every workshop day saw a brand new remix take shape, as the creations were 3D printed with precision. Some of these ingenious remixes eventually found their way to youmagine.com, where they could be shared and admired by art enthusiasts worldwide.
