Sidewinder X1 Z-axis Webcam Mount

This is a Z-axis mount specifically designed for the sidewinder X1 printer. It securely holds the Vitade HD960 webcam in place, which features an integrated ring light that provides essential illumination on the print bed. I opted for this camera because after performing the Waggster mod on my BL Touch, I was forced to disable the hotend LED due to incompatibility issues. Thankfully, this solution works incredibly well, with the camera positioned so that the nozzle sits perfectly at the center of the frame, and the hotend ribbon cable remains unobstructed. The camera is held firmly in place by a friction fit, which means excellent tolerances must be achieved during the print process to ensure a secure hold. In this design, no bolts or additional hardware are necessary, making it a straightforward and hassle-free installation process.
