Sidewinder X1 Tool Holders
thingiverse
Left and right side tool holders for the Artillery Sidewinder X1 are a must-have accessory for me. I use them to hold my print remover on the right side, while on the left side they securely hold the four Allen drivers I use most often: 3mm, 2.5mm, 2mm, and 1.5mm. Additionally, these tool holders come equipped with a set of small flushcuts and a brush. These versatile tool holders bolt directly onto the printer using existing bolts and holes, making installation a breeze. The holes for the tools are precisely drilled to accommodate either 3mm or 4mm tools. The thoughtful design of the tool holders includes rectangular cutouts that not only save material but also provide small areas to store bolts removed during assembly. This ingenious feature prevents them from rolling away and getting lost. I took it a step further by cutting out holes where the bolts would normally go, allowing me to use those very same bolts to hang something off the side of the printer or mount additional accessories on top of the tool holder. Depending on the rigidity of your chosen material, you may need to add a small strip of double-sided tape at the end farthest from the bolts to prevent it from lifting up when the bolts are properly tightened. This was the case with the purple PLA I used initially, so I switched to the more rigid black PLA for a secure fit.
