Remixed to work seamlessly with Logitech's C525 webcam. Unfortunately, you can't detach the base from this model easily, but I was drawn to DerBrinkmann's ingenious mount design and decided to modify it instead. By extending and widening the mount, I created a sturdy perch for the camera to securely lock onto. With some experimentation, I found that once the perfect position is achieved, it provides a rock-solid hold. This mount utilizes an M5x16 bolt, which surprisingly threads in even when the rail's center hole isn't threaded. According to the original designer, he used a tap to achieve this, but I managed to get it done without any specialized tools. For reference, check out Remixed from on the left for the original design. I printed this mount using PETG, and it has turned out to be a reliable solution for my webcam setup.
