Sidewinder X1 Frame Brace
myminifactory
Frame brace for the X1. My V4 printer can't confirm if this will work with other versions due to differences in hardware and design. The top parts attach to my printer using m5 nuts and screws, while the bottom part attaches where the front feet are located, reusing existing hardware, and one of the cover screw spots requires a slightly longer m3 screw. I used 1/2" electrical conduit cut to 27 inches and clamped it in place with m3 screws and nuts (10m long or longer is suggested). Taping around the ends of the tubes will make them more secure. This setup does not limit build volume at all. At maximum height, the cable will press slightly against the top left bracket but shouldn't be a problem. The bottom brackets are intentionally 3mm shorter than the original feet were to ensure proper fit and function. Printing the pad file in soft tpu or adding other soft padding material under those parts is recommended. To install the top outside m5 nuts, you'll need to remove the frame screw next to where it will go temporarily. This should give you enough clearance to secure them properly. I hope this setup works for your printer as well.
