Fan duct to force suction of air to all be on the side of the stepper drivers allowing for better cooling. The lid is designed to snap onto the walls of the duct (printed at 0.3mm allows the ridges of the layers to provide grip). Do not glue. Easy to take off and put back on. This allows you to easily mount the fan into place. I moved my custom board 25mm away from the wall of the printer housing, so if you have a stock board and left it in it's default position you may wish to edit the STL to extend the mouth of the fan duct to make it reach closer to your board. However it should also work as-is.
