Sidewinder Spool Guide for Artillery Sidewinder X2 (Genius Pro)
cults3d
I designed this part for those of us who have the inconvenience of not being able to put the filament spool on top of the machine or don't want to add more weight and vibrations. In principle it has been designed for the Artillery Sidewinder X2, although I understand that it would also fit for the Genius Pro, unfortunately I do not have that printer and I can not test it. I would appreciate that you contact me someone who has it and try it to confirm it, in any case, I attach the design file in blender if you want to edit it to adapt it to that or another printer. Also, with this design we lose the filament sensor, I really don't see much use for it, although if someone wants it he can try to modify the design from blender. For the installation we need: -1 screw M5x20 (for the lower part) -1 screw M3x20 and 1 nut M3 -1 ptfe tube (approx. 50 cm. on X2) (the screw that we remove below we can use it to put it in the back) I leave you a video of installation, although it is quite simple. https://youtu.be/yVmROCy8gAs V2 Sometimes there was a possibility that the ptfe tube and the z-axis cable could get tangled, so I have made a second version. Now the tube is 20mm further away from the printer and has a slight outward tilt to separate it from the cable. Now the ptfe tube has the possibility to come out from the bottom so that the size can be adjusted and the filament is protected. I hope you like it.
