Sidewinder rear brace attachment

Brace attachments and ball joint thread inserts to add two aluminium rods as a braces for your Sidewinder X1. The rods uses balljoints with 6mm holes and M6 threas and the rods are around 575mm long. The M6 thread inserts are designed for an aluminum rod with OD 10mm and 1mm wall thickness, and the threads are knocked in with a hammer. The attachments have a slot for an M6 nut and are attachemd with double sided tape. I used two angle iron brackets for the upper attachment. I printed the attachments with 50% infill, one as-is and one mirrored and the four thread inserts were printed solid at 0,12 layer thickness and I cleaned out the threads about half way which allowed for a snug fit for the ball joint. No support needed for either of the parts Besides the 3D printed parts you need: 2x Rods 10x1mm and around 575mm long 4x Ball joints M6 threads and 6mm hole 2x Angle brackets (I cut some from curtain rod hangers, 3mm thick) 4x M5 Screws L=8mm 4x M5 T-nuts 2x M6 Nut 2x M6 Nyloc nut 4x M6 Screws, L=20mm Some 6mm washers
