Sidewinder Part Cooling Outlet

Sidewinder Part Cooling Outlet

It appears that the part cooling fan outlet is positioned in a way that directs airflow more towards the heat block and nozzle than onto the part itself. With the printer disassembled for cleaning up the leaked plastic from its subpar factory assembly, I seized the opportunity to upgrade it with a titanium heat break and a silicone boot. Additionally, I designed a new cooling outlet component. Unfortunately, while working on this project, I inadvertently dropped the fan, causing the factory outlet to break off easily, making removal a relatively straightforward task. I printed the upgraded part with its outlet situated on the table, without any support material. To achieve optimal results, I employed 2 layers of .15mm thick material, using 100% fill and moving at a leisurely pace of 50mm/sec.
