Sidewinder Missile for Freewing Jets
thingiverse
I just got a brand new printer (Ender 3) and it's capable of producing prints that are significantly better in quality than my old Makerbot. As a result, I decided to upgrade my old AIM-9 Sidewinder model with more intricate details. Let me tell you, this is the "High Def" version. It remains super simple to assemble. I print the body and head separately so I don't have to worry about support structures getting in the way. Then all it takes is a quick glue job and you're done. It looks amazing with a bit of paint added, and you end up with a very nice looking missile. Just like my previous version, I included the "decal" for those who want to make their missile look extra fancy. If you find my designs helpful and useful, a tip would be greatly appreciated. You can send tips to: http://paypal.me/sukotto88 If you're planning on attaching this to the Freewing F-16, I've got you covered with this pylon attachment I made: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2725747 P.S. The default scale for this model is 1/11.5, which matches the scale of the Freewing F-16. Feel free to scale it up or down as needed to fit your desired scale. Be sure to check out some of my other RC ordnance designs.
