People who, like me, tend to leave their brushes in the water cup after painting often get excited about finishing and forget about them until the next day. This is when they find out that their brush bristles have been bent and curled from being left in the water for too long. The Brush Rest solves this problem by holding a small amount of water, allowing it to be laid on its side. This takes most of the weight off the bristle tips, preventing them from becoming damaged.
