Voilà</p> <p>This joystick grip has been inspired by the original sidestick, which is installed in Airbus airliners like the A320, A330, A340, A350 and A380.<br> Based on <a href="https://grabcad.com/library/sidestick-in-a320-style-1">this original model</a> with the agreement of the the author.</p> <h2><b><u>Applicability:</h2></b></u><ul><li> Compatible with Virpil, Thrustmaster Cougar and Warthog joystick bases. </li><li>Compatible with VKB NXT base. Untested, I do not own one. </li></ul><h2><u><b>Options:</u></b></h2><ul><li> 8 different combinations of grip: <ul><li> Captain = left hand grip. </li><li>First Officer right hand grip. </li><li>with a Virpil/Thrustmaster base adaptor. </li><li>for VKB NXT base without adaptor. Untested, I do not own one. </li><li>Game: 11 buttons:<ul><li>1 trigger, </li><li>2x 5-way hats, </li><li>1 scroll gear.</li></ul> </li><li>Sim: 2 buttons like the original. This version does not require an Arduino if coupled with a Virpil base.<ul><li>1 trigger, </li><li>1 button.</li></ul></li></ul> </li></ul><h2><b><u>Print:</h2></b></u><ul><li> The scroll gear is printed in place. Supports are oriented for the grip to be printed as it stands. </li><li>Designed for resin printing. Please share your results if you use a filament printer. </li></ul><h2><b><u>Materials:</h2></b></u><ul><li> M3x35mm bolt for the trigger. </li><li>Two M4x10mm bolt for the cover. </li><li>Compression spring (6mm diameter x10mm height x0.5mm wire-diameter). </li><li>Rotary potentiometer or rotary encoder. </li><li>Two <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5078509">hat switches</a>. </li><li>One 12x12x7mm trigger switch. (EAN 4260352722708) </li><li>Arduino Leonardo or Pro Micro and some wiring. </li></ul><h2><u><b>Assembly:</u></h2></b><ol><li> Check the picture, they are worth 1000 words. </li><li>Plug the potentiometer wires either:<ul><li>in an Arduino Leonardo or Pro Micro, load the joystick library and follow the examples in <a href="https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/BuiltInExamples"> Arduino tutorial chapter 1 to 4</a>. </li><li>in the Virpil base at your own risk.
