Side Vent
thingiverse
I'm experiencing a problem with my computer disk being directly under a vent, which causes my legs to freeze when the central air is on during summer.\r\n\r\nTo address this issue, I designed a custom vent plate that directs airflow out the side and onto my computer tower, providing better cooling. This design allows me to switch directions in winter to deflect heat away from it.\r\n\r\nThe print requirements for this vent plate are significant, necessitating at least 280mm of printing space in one piece. A CR10 or large build bed is necessary to complete the job successfully.\r\n\r\nI printed my own vent plate on a JGAurora A5 while standing it upright. Please note that my print was stopped prematurely due to noise complaints, but it still functions properly despite being missing the lip at the open end.
