Upcycling a Rubbermaid Plastic Storage Tub into a Functional End Table This DIY project transforms a standard plastic storage tub into a one-of-a-kind end table, combining connector pieces with copper pipe and overhead lighting panels to create a unique furniture piece. The sci-fi grunge styled connectors snap easily into place on top, integrating the pipe and transparent grid seamlessly. By reducing waste and incorporating storage space into daily living, this design supports a smaller living footprint. The top of the table snaps on and off, allowing for easy access to the storage compartment when needed. When moving time arrives, all pieces can be stowed away inside the tub, making it a convenient and portable piece of furniture. The leg pieces are hot glued onto the tub and can be easily removed if desired. Both the top and bottom pieces print effortlessly in resolutions ranging from 0.2 to 0.4 mm, with printing support built into the STL file for added convenience.
