UPDATE 2-May-2020: I added a few new versions of the Long and Extra Long mounts. There are now four versions available, each with its own unique features. > 4 Tabs This version has four tabs that slide into the v-slots, but be aware that it may not fit snugly depending on your print quality. > 3 Tabs A & B These two versions have three tabs, making it easier to get them to fit onto the rail. Choose the one that suits your needs and make sure the "missing" tab is at the side, not the top. > Screw Holes This version has two tabs and two screw holes, providing a sturdy fit and easy installation. The M5*8 screws that come with your printer are long enough, but I recommend using M5*10 screws for added security. UPDATE 27-Oct-2019: I improved the size and depth of the screw holes in the versions with extra screw holes to provide a better fit. UPDATE 12-Sept-2019: I added new versions of both the Long and Extra Long mounts, featuring screw holes for a stronger screw/nut connection. UPDATE 28-Apr-2019: I added an Extra Long version that is 2.3cm longer than the original, providing extra clearance for bigger filament rolls. This is my custom Side Spool Mount design, which includes both a Long and an Extra Long version. The mount has been designed to be easy to install – simply remove the back cap, slide it onto the bar, and replace the cap. The fit is tight but secure, so you may need to apply some force to get it on. For an even more stable connection, I recommend using a version with screw holes. The M5*8 screws that come with your printer are long enough, but I suggest using M5*10 screws for added security. The mount is designed to be long enough for the spools to clear the Z-axis motor, making it easy to change filament rolls without any issues. This design is specifically intended for the Ender 3 Pro, but it should also fit on the Ender 3 and Creality CR-10. Tip: If you're using this awesome Filament Holder (remix) by mjoaris, place the original mount with the flat side to the front. This will allow you to screw the holder on vertically, just like in the second photo.
