Side Spool Mount E3 Pro
thingiverse
Remixed from BoothyBoothy's version (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3757724). Removed the upper support arm to make it functional for either hand, featuring bolt holes and nut slots that work equally well on both sides. Added some openings in the cross support of the base, originally intended to reduce filament usage but now serves as a perfect spot to store Fila-clips (I use Bassna's - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:630789) and possibly a tool or two. Loved the extended length this design provides for clearing the gantry and maintaining height over the table, but the upper support rubbed against my spools with the roller mod I was using. It was a minor annoyance trying to get the nut to stay in place while installing the metal arm, so I modified it to capture a 5mm nut instead. Still mounts to the side leg with a T-nut/bolt combination. This should work with standard Ender 3 and similar printers, but I can only confirm its functionality on the E3 Pro.
