Side Release Buckle - 20mm / 3/4in - Field repair - 1 pin
thingiverse
The original files I started from are available here on GrabCAD. Taikonaught did a great job with it. I wanted to modify the compression straps on a small 13L day-pack. It had a pair of sewn-in tri-glide anchors that I wanted to replace with quick-release buckles. Unfortunately, unsewing the webbing would be a big mess of popping seams on the internal tape, and then more seams to get at the webbing. What I needed was a field repair style buckle. I took Taikonaught's CAD and massaged the female buckle to accept a 30mm 3mm bolt as a pin. I used some 3mm ID brass tubing lengths so that the webbing wouldn't abrade on the threading of the bolt. It works great so far. I did rub the surfaces of the male connector with emery tape until things were nice and smooth. This helped make the buckle action easier. I printed it in PETG at 100% infill.
