Human: NOTE: THIS PART IS ONLY ONE SIDE. FROM YOU SLICER YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE MIRROR FEATURE TO GET OPPOSITE HAND PART. This part is designed to fit the Duplicator 4s, making it easy to remove and replace the side plexiglass for printing purposes. When printing with PLA, my full enclosure can get warm enough to negatively affect my prints. By adding these holders, it becomes a tool-less operation to remove the side plexiglass if desired, as well as making it easier to clean inside the enclosure. I was able to reuse the factory hardware originally holding the plexi in place, so no additional hardware is needed. New holes will need to be drilled to mount these holders. When marking the holes, leave the plexi bolted in place with the top two screws, hold the brackets firmly up against the glass, mark the hole positions, remove the plexi, drill, reuse factory bolts for new pieces, and slide the plexi back in place. I recommend removing the entire side panel for this process. Printer Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator 4s Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: user choice, .2mm Notes: My machine isn't listed, but is a Duplicator 4s. I used PLA for these parts, but you can use whatever material you like and set your settings to what works best for you. I used 15% infill which is overkill for these parts, but I just used a pre-set settings profile in my slicer that gave good results right away. I didn't use any supports or a raft and printed with the flat area down. I had to clean out the counter sink holes a little, but that was a piece of cake. Post-Printing: Minimal cleanup should be required for this part. It is designed to be printed with no supports or raft. If your printer is decently tuned, you should have no issues with these prints. Only cleanup will be in the counter sink holes where the bolt heads will go. How I Designed This: Design Process I kept it super simple by measuring the plexi and using SolidWorks to model up this part. I have also included the SolidWorks part file so that you can edit as you desire. If you would like a different file format, just let me know and I'll see if I can provide it for you.
