Side panels for BfB 3D touch
thingiverse
This project involves creating sides for the BfB 3Dtouch printer using acrylic panels and panel hooks, along with a heater for winter printing in a garage. Adding insulation keeps the inside temperature around 85°F, improving print quality even at mildly cold temperatures. The STL includes six panel hooks, with an individual hook option as well, plus CAD files. Required materials include a sheet of acrylic, weather strip foam tape, and six panel hooks, all available at Lowe's. Cutting instructions are provided for the panels and weather stripping. After printing the hooks, attach them to the printer sides along with the acrylic panels using weather stripping to maintain warmth during printing.
