Side mount Anycubic i3 mega
thingiverse
The original mount design was too flimsy to handle the weight of the extruder and there was a persistent problem of the carriage colliding with it when printing taller objects. This increase in thickness remedies both those issues while maintaining a print without supports (for optimal fit, however, I would still enable "tree support" in Cura to optimize printing of those tiny grips).\r\n\r\nThere is likely a more sophisticated way to accomplish this than this makeshift modification in Tinkercad, but it works effectively for me.\r\n\r\nCombine these designs with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3451933 for the best results.\r\n\r\nIF YOU DOWNLOAD THIS DESIGN, PLEASE GIVE IT A LIKE
