I decided to make these myself instead of paying the high cost of new reproductions. I had a decent original rubber to reverse engineer. There are three models here, the left and right are for vehicles with the slanted bottom like GT6 and Spitfire. The flat bottomed ones are for MG midget. Not sure regarding other vehicles that used this common part. When printed with TPU, the resulting item is not as flexible as the original material, but it works. I won't kid you it is difficult to assemble, but not impossible Take your time and use a small jeweler's screw driver and butter knife to pry the rubber and tuck things in. Be careful not to bend the chrome frame. After successful assembly you will probably never want to mess with these again so I strongly suggest you install an LED lamp replacement. With TPU, the exposed bottom edge can be sanded to achieve a look very similar to the original rubber. This is shown in one of the photos. Perform this sanding before assembly. The TPU should last a long time. Hopefully longer than the original rubbers did. Duplicating my success will require that you develop a decent TPU profile for your 3d printer and filament. I printed with generic TPU on a Bowden printer. I printed with three walls and a 25% infill, no retraction, and no support is required. However I have never found an "out of the box" TPU profile that worked for me. I have always had to tweak them. If you have a direct drive printer then I suggest trying some of the softer durometer flexible filaments. I would not bother printing it with flexible resin on a UV printer. I tried Resione's F69 and I don't believe the resulting material will hold up to exterior automotive use. But it is useful to print an evaluation part.
