This is a side fan mount for all metal hot end cooling. Designed to fit http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106313. If you don't have this X carriage base, you won't have the alternate screw hold originally designed to allow for extruder rotated mounting. Consider adding a adding a 40 mm fan guard, This was a project used to gain experience with DesignSpark Mechanical CAD software. The software made this really easy to create. Instructions Printed with PLA. No special care is needed. Screw holes come out slightly undersized so only need a quick clean out. Uses M4 screw to mount on plate and M3 20 screws for Fan and hinge mounting.
