Side Cutters holster/holder with retracting cord

It's handy to keep a pair of snips or side-cutters close to your 3D printer for trimming filament, and in a shared space like Cambridge Makespace it can be tough to prevent them from migrating to other workbenches. This holster holds a pair of side cutters and uses a retractable keychain/pass-holder to ensure they don't wander off. It's designed so it can be screwed to a vertical surface, covers are included for the screw holes, and both sides are countersunk so you can mount it on either side. It's made to hold this retractable keychain. You'll have to cut the clip off with tin-snips to make it fit in. Other similar devices might also work well. I used these inexpensive side-cutters but again you might find that others fit okay. I finished mine with a fun vinyl-cut decal, the design for which is also included.
