Shy Guy Remix

First of all, I want to give bpitanga a huge shoutout for doing an awesome job on this model - it's one of the best things I've ever printed. In my remix, I wanted to take his model and give it a major upgrade with a 1-piece mask that eliminates the need for any glue. To make it even more versatile, I designed multiple interchangeable masks with different expressions, so you can easily swap them out without any hassle. I also made sure to print the entire outfit with minimal support, which allowed me to add some extra holes through the shoes, pants, and belt. By extending the sole of the shoe and pants, I created a sturdy connection that makes it easier to assemble the pieces without glue. The hat got an upgrade too - I extended the hole in the hat to accommodate a longer central support beam, which keeps it securely in place even when not glued. I also added a notch to the belt for a buckle that can slide right into it, eliminating the need for any adhesives. Speaking of support, the only piece that needed it was the mask - everything else printed with ease using 10% infill. However, I did use 100% infill on the soles of the shoes to give them extra strength and durability. As always, I print with a hot 65-degree bed temperature, which gives me a nice, smooth surface finish. The only downside is that it creates a bit of smoosh on the first level - but cleaning off the excess brim made all the difference in getting the parts to snap together seamlessly.
