This is an easy to make sabot for a potato gun / cannon. This is made from common carbonated beverage containers. Simply mark the barrel diameter on the bottle, then add 1.25-1.5 " in length and cut top off of the bottle. Use a paper hole punch to punch a number of evenly spaced holes at the barrel diameter and then slit with scissors or a utility knife. Join two together with duct tape or hot melt glue or any way that works for you.With this you can make small water balloons that can be launched 100-150 yards or so depending on the charge used. Your mileage may vary.
