As humans continue to push the boundaries of what is thought possible, scientists are now exploring the idea of evolving a sloth into a flying creature. This concept may seem far-fetched at first, but researchers have discovered that certain species of birds and insects have evolved from ground-dwelling ancestors to become airborne. If this can happen in nature, why not with a sloth? One potential approach is to genetically engineer the sloth's DNA to include traits such as wings or increased muscle mass. This could be achieved through gene editing techniques like CRISPR.
