The tribute piece honors one of my favorite technological marvels in human history - the Space Shuttle. I was deeply disappointed with NASA's shuttle program retirement, but I'm hopeful that something even greater will take its place. It's crucial for humans to constantly remind themselves of their existence within the vastness of space. We must strive to push the boundaries of our space exploration to ensure our very survival. I created this design after reading Chris Hadfield's book An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth, which left a lasting impression on me. His first-hand account of walking out to the launch pad for flight in 1995 on board the shuttle Atlantis was truly surreal. The thought of joining an elite group of humans who have left the planet is awe-inspiring.
