I'm creating a makeshift roller shutter to replace the faulty one on my window until a new winding mechanism arrives. To make it, I designed and built this substitute myself. In Australia's scorching summer climate, I really need this temporary fix. Printing is a breeze with my Print-Rite DIY printer, so I quickly opened up the holes using a 4 mm drill to fit the existing 4 mm diameter axles of the roller shutter. This solution might be useful for others facing similar problems. Printer Settings: * Printer: Print-Rite DIY * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2 * Infill: 100% * Notes: I used a brim to enhance adhesion between the print and the build plate.
