Shure BT1 headphone cable clip
thingiverse
This is a custom clip design for the Shure BT1 earbuds to attach securely to your shirt or jacket of choice. The original clip provided with the headphones proved to be fragile, leading me to create this alternative solution. Based on my calculations, I assumed a separation tolerance of 0.5mm between the clip and the clasp at the back, considering the teeth are 1mm wide and 0.7mm deep for accurate detail. The material used should have sufficient elasticity to withstand repeated bending as you put it on and take it off your shirt. Initially, I attempted to modify an existing Shure BT1 clip available on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3100915), but sought a less bulky design and noticed that the wall thickness seemed excessive. Upon printing the original design, I found the clasp portion too large for my BT1 battery housing, prompting me to measure it with calipers and create an entirely new clip from scratch. I'd like to thank @DorffMeister for their inspiration in this project.
