SHTF stop button for Tevo Tarantula
thingiverse
I created this SHTF stop button for my Tevo Tarantula after having issues with the Z end stop sensor that almost caused me to grind the stepper and break the acrylic mount. I tried various sizes, but this one is working flawlessly now, giving me a true emergency button feel when pressed, just like a real spring button. It simply snaps into place without needing to be unscrewed and stays put. The print in red PLA turned out great, with a tough finish that's perfect for its small size. Achieving high resolution on such a small object is challenging, but I found a good compromise by printing it at 10% infill with no supports, just a brim, a speed of 40mm/s, a bed temperature of 207 degrees Celsius, and a layer height of 0.2 millimeters.
