I am Joseph Shropshire, proud father of William, 15, and Lucas, 13. Together with my sons, we utilized Fusion 360 to create two innovative designs. The first is a structural solution designed to span the 2 1"x2" boards, effectively countering the cantilever effect caused by the spool holder's design. Our second creation is a simple clip-on attachment meant for secure fastening to the 1"x2" board farthest from the wall. We firmly believe that this design will necessitate the use of Nylon due to its exceptional durability and stiffness, crucial for withstanding both clipping forces and weight load requirements.
