Shrink Tubing cutter for any scissors
thingiverse
Update: Replaced photos with new design. Had a bit of warping in the gauge piece, should have used a raft instead. Always need to cut multiple pieces of shrink tubing for cable ends and they look much better if uniform in length. The unit attaches to one blade of any scissors and the user can adjust depth to get desired length. A 15mm x 4mm round magnet with countersunk hole is used, secured by a 4-40 flathead bolt that taps plastic. An adjuster, a 4-40 flat head screw (37mm long) with nylon locking nut, keeps it secured to the gauge plate while still turning. The other end self threads into the magnet/scissor piece for adjustment. A picture shows an earlier version without guide pin strutting and the magnet is now recessed so scissors sit on rest bar. You may have to ream out guide holes slightly depending on first layer. Get a 15mm x 4mm round rare earth neodymium craft magnet N52 on eBay, item number 311833824652.
