I am using the Grech CBG-500 filter on my 3 gallon shrimp tank. I needed a way to make this filter safer for shrimp. This filter has a regular suction and a skimmer attachment. I really like this filter because it has the UV sterilizer built in the hang on the back section. I created a plug to plug the existing suction and a new pre-filter attachment to replace the skimmer attachment that comes with the filter.
