Shredded Skull

Shredded Skull

I call these "Shredded Skulls". I used an open sourced skull model, adding some intricate details with intersect modeling techniques that give this design its awesome look. There's one spot on the eye where additional supports would be beneficial, but I've printed it multiple times without them and achieved great results. To get started, print a single perimeter shell, along with two top layers and one bottom layer. A 5% infill setting should provide sufficient support for the skull's top portion. However, if you want an even smoother finish on that area, you can try printing it without any infill at all. Remember to fine-tune your slicer settings and reduce the minimum retraction distance from its default of 2 to a more manageable .5.
