Shower Stall Phone Holder/Speaker Amplifier

I enjoy listening to podcasts and music while taking showers. Unfortunately, finding a spot to place my phone near my shower has always been a challenge. To solve this problem, I needed a way to hang my phone on the shower door without risking damage from water exposure. Since phones and water don't mix well, I decided to attach it on the outside of the shower instead of the inside. My solution involves using a Samsung Galaxy S6 with a case that has its speaker located at the bottom. This allows me to start playing music or podcasts, then place my phone in the holder upside down for decent sound quality within the shower area. Here are some key points to consider: 1. You will need three components: the holder, one of the brackets, and the tensioner. 2. The smaller bracket measures 18mm in width. If you have a wider option, I've included an alternative known as the "Large" bracket that provides about 47mm of width. 3. The tensioner works perfectly with my phone, which slides up and down within the holder by approximately 15mm. Therefore, the tensioner is set at a height of 20mm to provide sufficient tension. Feel free to adjust this setting in your slicer if needed, but be sure not to alter the width since it fits snugly into the bottom of the holder. 4. The tensioner simply rests loosely within the holder and should not be glued, as this would compromise its functionality. 5. I anticipate that some phones may not fit due to varying dimensions. To give you an idea, the available space measures about 12mm deep, 77mm wide, and approximately 150mm tall. Keep in mind that while the space is taller, a phone can only fit within a maximum height of around 150mm. 6. The holder and bracket are designed to slide together smoothly; however, they do fit tightly due to intentional design. In fact, I had to use a tack hammer to tap them into place initially.
