Shower Shelf
thingiverse
I've updated the design on January 18th, 2018: I tweaked the layout and uploaded fresh files with a Showershelf2-name. Two new models are now available in 170 mm and 200 mm sizes. The thickness of each model has been bumped up (to 5.5mm) to provide extra strength. Furthermore, the corner now features a larger cutout for walls with uneven corners. This shelf is easy to print for your shower. I created this design using OpenSCAD because standard metal shower shelves are often too small. To avoid issues, please do not print this in standard PLA as it may warp when exposed to hot water temperatures. I've printed mine in PETG and it's holding up great, even after rinsing with hot tapwater (which is usually around 65-70 degrees Centigrade). Both a 200mm model (my preferred choice) and a smaller 150 mm model are now available for download. Print Settings: Printer: Mankati Fullscale XT/XT-Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1-0.2mm Notes: For the best results, print this shelf in PETG, ABS, or ASA. Remember that it needs to withstand hot water temperatures, so choose a temperature-resistant material like PETG, ABS, or ASA.
